Founded in 1850, the University of Sydney has ranked in the top 20 universities worldwide. From the inner city of Sydney, to working farms to the Great Barrier Reef, the University of Sydney has teachers, researchers and students based all over Australia.
UBW has been engaged to work on a range of projects on multiple sites within the university. Such projects (but not limited to) Glass maintenance work at the Holme Building and Footbridge Theatre, balustrade stone repairs at the famous Quadrangle campus, amenities upgrade at the Carslaw Building, fit-outs, room relocation and modifications such as the Nicholson Museum, Chemistry Lecture Room, and Jane Foss Russell Building.
Glass maintenance work was carried out on a Saturday, where UBW supplied and replaced the damaged awning glass panel. This involved safe, effective traffic and pedestrian control and craneage.
