The Brief

Footbridge panels secured and cleaned overnight.

The University of Technology Sydney (UTS) sits in the city’s creative and digital precinct beside the CBD and ranks among the top 100 universities worldwide. UBW has delivered a range of projects across multiple UTS sites since 2020, including COVID safety installations, fit-outs and room modifications, remedial works, repairs and painting. UBW was engaged to fix off and clean all underside panels of the footbridge over Harris Street.

Our Approach

Completed overnight to keep the street open.

UBW fixed off all underside panels of the footbridge, screw fixing each panel to the supporting framework, then cleaned the full underside. Works were carried out in a single overnight shift from 9pm to 5am to minimise disruption to pedestrians and traffic on Harris Street.
