The University of Technology Sydney (UTS) sits in the city’s creative and digital precinct beside the CBD and ranks among the top 100 universities worldwide. UBW has delivered a range of projects across multiple UTS sites since 2020, including COVID safety installations, fit-outs and room modifications, remedial works, repairs and painting. UBW was engaged to assess the safety of the Bell Tower masonry elements at the Haymarket campus.
Delivered by crane and suspended basket.
UBW conducted the safety assessment of the Bell Tower masonry elements over a single weekend to limit disruption to the campus. Works were carried out by crane from a suspended basket, working alongside specialist stonemasons Artisan of Stone.
